- Title
PERFORMANCE OF OVERT MALE HOMOSEXUALS AND CONTROLS ON THE BLACKY TEST.
- Authors
de Luca, Joseph N.
- Abstract
The article cites a study which investigated whether homosexuals and controls score differently on the Blacky pictures test. The Blacky test was individually administered. Each protocol was scored on two separate occasions for each of the thirty factors derived from the factor analyses of the eleven dimensions of psychosexual conflict measured by the Blacky test. The conclusion is that the Blacky test does not differentiate overt male homosexuals from an equated group of non-homosexuals. It is possible that the homosexuals and controls were in fact not significantly different in terms of degree and kind of psychosexual conflict being dealt with as suggested by previous research.
