- Abstract
The article offers information on amendments made with regard to France's legislation on transport of radioactive materials. A decree was adopted on December 19, 2008 which modified Section 6 of Chapter II of the Environmental code concerning the transboundary transfer of radioactive waste and spent nuclear fuel. It excluded three activities including the transfer of spent or disused sealed sources, the transfer of treated for re-use radioactive waste or spent nuclear fuel, and the transfer of unused natural radioactive materials.
