- Abstract
The article offers information on the narratives in ancient Sanskrit literature comprising several shlokas (in Sanskrit) and their translations into English language. The topics addressed include details on ancient Indian epic 'Budhasvāmin' and information on the use of word 'Garuda' in ancient literature which refers to a mythical bird of Hinduism and Buddhism who is half man and half bird.
