- Abstract
This essay shares insights on philosopher John Dewey's 1939 lecture on creative democracy and social reformer Frederick Douglass' picture-theoretical essays on the power of aesthetic freedom within democratic existence and struggles for equality. Topics tackled are connection of nature to equality and freedom, paradigms of international crisis of democratic sovereignty and presence of creative dispositive, and intersection of freedom with aesthetic experience.
