- Abstract
The intense use of digital technologies in everyday life, especially by young people, collaborates in demanding that, in the school environment, teachers add Digital Information and Communication Technologies (DICT) to teaching methodologies to develop the curriculum, especially in University Education. Thus, the objective of the research was to identify characteristics of the curriculum experienced by the undergraduates’ students, in relation to the TDIC in Mathematics Teacher Education. The participants were graduates students from public institutions in Mato Grosso do Sul, who answered online questionnaires on Google form. To analyze the data, we used Automated Content Analysis and Statistical Analysis. The data showed that the curricula of the Degrees in Mathematics slowly inserted/integrated DICT into the teaching and learning processes, moving slowly towards Digital Enculturation. Digital Enculturation has the ability to transmit a sense of belonging to the identified social group in a society that tends to exclude. The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated this journey, turning it almost into a marathon. The insertion and integration of TDIC provoked changes in the curricula experienced in these Degrees, which was pointed out by the finalist licentiate students. In conclusion, the educational use of TDIC transformed the curriculum experienced by undergraduates in order to enable the construction of technological pedagogical content knowledge (TPACK), presenting characteristics of a web curriculum to train digital enculturators, in different local contexts of the State of MS.
