- Abstract
The article discusses the possible cause of premature constriction of the fetal ductus arteriosus in gestating women including maternal use of chamomile tea. It notes that the most common cause of ductal constriction is maternal use of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). It observes two cases of premature ductal constriction associated with maternal consumption of chamomile tea but have no history of NSAID use in either patient.
