- Abstract
The article discusses a study focused on observation of embryonic development of tongue in Lacerta agilis (Reptilia), using SEM (scanning electron microscopy). It informs that the SEM observation revealed that the microstructures development of tongue of sand lizard continue after hatching. It also highlights the increase in width and length of tongues during incubation.
