- Abstract
The article discusses German General Car-Heinrich von Stülpnagel and his involvement in the German anti-Nazi movement and antisemitism from 1932 to 1944. His participation in the assassination attempt on German Nazi leader Adolf Hitler on July 20, 1944 for which he was hanged on August 30, 1944 is mentioned. Topics include his appointment as head of the Foreign Armed Forces (Fremde Heere) in December 1932, the Battle of Uman (Uman, Ukraine) in 1941, and his nomination as Military Commander in France (MBF) on February 17, 1942.
