The article discusses a proposed polycentric approach to managing space weaponization and debris as of June 2014, focusing on Chinese anti-satellite (ASAT) tests and the potential impacts of space debris on the International Space Station (ISS) and space tourism. Sustainable development is addressed in relation to outer space, satellite telecommunications and space commerce. The U.S. National Aeronautics & Space Administration (NASA) is examined, along with space laws and technology.
