- Abstract
The article discusses then-University of Cambridge Professor of Comparative Law C.J. Hamson's inaugural lecture about legal history in 1955 in relation to a legal historian's role in a law school and the relationships between legal history and other areas of law such as comparative law as of 2016. The practice of law in places such as England is examined, as well as law school curricula and the influence of a law degree and Great Britain's Legal Education and Training Review (LETR) project.
