- Abstract
As environmental issues become increasingly important, academic research on the environment is starting to gain the value it deserves. Bibliometric network analysis is very useful in terms of scanning and filtering many categories such as the most influential author, journal, and country in academic research topics, identifying gaps in topics, and evaluating the impact of studies. This study focuses on the bibliometric network analysis of studies focused on STIRPAT (Stochastic Impacts by Regression on Population, Affluence, and Technology), EKC (Environmental Kuznets Curve), and environmental taxation. When these three focus areas of studies on the environment are examined, it was found that the most active countries in the literature are China, the USA, and Turkey, respectively. Additionally, the most influential authors, journals, and citation networks are also examined, and a detailed examination is made of some of the most effective sources found. Determining the main research topics and clusters in the literature will allow for the study of potential research gaps. Overall, the study provides a comprehensive overview of STIRPAT, EKC, and environmental taxation and is a valuable resource for researchers and policymakers interested in environmental issues.
