- Authors

- Abstract
The author reflects on a study which utilized a lung simulator model to analyze the effects of ventilator settings on the extent of pendelluft during mechanical ventilation. Topics include the possible overdistention of dependent lung that may cause patient-induced lung injury during pendelluft and how pendelluft can be identified with auscultation of the chest and the use of electrical impedance tomography (EIT).
