- Abstract
The article explains how polymer blending can be used in obtaining new polymers as an alternative to the method of synthesis. It presents a study on the effects of heterophasic or random polypropylene (PP) copolymer on the compatibility mechanism between ethylene vinyl acetate (EVA) and PP copolymers. It showed how the strength and deformation properties of PP/EVA blends improved by increasing EVA content to above 40%.
