- Abstract
Level, Pregnant Women, Hepatitis B Hepatitis B is a long-term chronic infectious disease that can attack the liver and if left unchecked will cause Extraordinary Events (KLB) and death. East Nusa Tenggara in 2021 is the highest at 5%, followed by Papua 4.2% and North Maluku 3.3% In Central Sumba Regency, in 2021 pregnant women detected hepatitis B 3.20% in 2022 rose to 4.74%. Malinjak Health Center, Katiku Tana Selatan District, with the number of pregnant women in 2021, hepatitis B is 2.53%, and in 2022 it is 2.87% reactive hepatitis B, because it is important to increase the knowledge of pregnant women about hepatitis B. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of hepatitis B in pregnancy at the Malinjak Health Center, Central Sumba Regency. Observational analytical research method with a cross-sectional approach to 70 respondents by taking into account inclusion and exclusion criteria and Data analysis using the Chi-Square test with the SPSS 16.0 program at the Malinjak Health Center, Central Sumba Regency in July – August 2023. The results were 13 respondents with positive HBsAg reactive and based on respondents' knowledge of good knowledge but insufficient knowledge was also balanced with a p-value = < 0.001. Conclusion There is a relationship between knowledge of pregnant women and the incidence of hepatitis B in pregnancy at the Malinjak Health Center, Central Sumba Regency
