- Abstract
The present work treats the study of Mexico during Independence days through documents emitted at that time (1810-1821). It is not just a bibliographic review but an analysis of the doctrinal discourse that projected the creation of a country and the birth of a national politics. Ambiguities in the political projects of insurgency not only reflect the ideological fights but deal with a fundamental fact in the history of Mexico: the gestation of Mexico like a state-nation and the emergency of its imaginary, "the national being".
