- Abstract
The article discusses the Institute for Security Studies (ISS) National Victims of Crime Survey which examines the extent and nature of petty corruption in South Africa. The survey highlights the large numbers of citizens who do not know how to report corruption and are afraid to the consequences of whistleblowing. In this regard, some key challenges for the national anti-corruption drive to address the propagation of such including the extent of corruption, public sector most affected by corruption and private sector corruption.
