Abstract
The article features the town of Thame in Oxfordshire, England. Thame is an attractive market town whose roots go back to Anglo Saxon times. Recently, it has seen a significant growth in its population and employment, reflected in the Thame Community Plan. Many of the timbered houses that surround the fish-shaped market place date from the 15th century.
