- Abstract
The article discusses the agreement in subordinate clauses in Khasi, India. It describes Khasi as a Mon-Khmer language primarily spoken in eastern Meghalaya State, India and adjoining areas in Assam and Bangladesh. According to Ethnologue, the Khasi speaking population in India is 865,000. Khasi subordinate clauses are described to be marked with the particle ba, either alone or with another preceding particle prefixed. Examples of the structures of Khasi subordinate clauses are provided.
