- Abstract
The article focuses on the results of a survey on the technological development of Punjabi language processing in India. It notes that there is a shortage of linguistic resources and open-source software. One of the main organisations that are working for the technological development of Punjabi language is Punjabi University in Punjab. The main agency that sponsors research on Punjabi language is the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT).
