- Abstract
The article focuses on the interaction between two rotational modes and a ferroelectric distortion in some transition-metal oxides as a method for strong magnetoelectronic coupling. It cites the study of N. A. Benedek and C. J. Fennie on the mechanism where magnetoelectric coupling can be achieved among transition-metal oxides or perovskites. It adds that such study is done through a type of coupling between lattice instabilities aimed at controlling magnetization by an electric field.
