- Abstract
The article examines constitutionality of prohibiting firearm possession by individuals previously committed to a mental institution. Topics discussed include laws aimed to prevent violation of the National Firearms Act; Second Amendment rights to bear firearms; and provision of Gun Control Act, which prohibited various classes of individuals from shipping, transporting, or possessing any firearms or ammunition.
