- Abstract
The article proposes an ultrasonic welding technique for polymer materials and examines its effectiveness to the weld process. Also explored is the effect of welding stress on welding strength and welding area, along with the relationship between welding strength and interfacial structure. Findings show that the protruded length and the surface roughness negatively impacts the welding strength. It adds that the higher welding stress and shorter welding time are more effective.
