- Abstract
The article discusses what the passage of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Amendments (ADAA), signed in November 2008, implicated for students and teachers. The author explores how eligibility for individualized education programs has been affected, while noting that the definition of disability has remained the same. The author discusses the various areas that have been expanded in the ADAA and explores how it will impact general and special education. The article also includes the section 504 ADA student eligibility form which has undergone changes.
