- Abstract
The article cites the findings of the study on the association of the use stimulants and the sudden unexplained death in young individuals in the U.S. It recommends that physicians must be careful in the prescription of stimulants through diagnostic assessments, screening, and monitoring their patients especially those who are risks to develop cardiac diseases. It also notes that a correlation between tricyclic antidepressants and sudden death is possible.
