- Abstract
The article describes a case of a mammary neuroendocrine (NE) cancer that shows intramammary relapse associated with needle implantation. Topics discussed include the symptoms presented by a 60-year-old Japanese woman, the findings from ultrasound-guided automated core needle biopsy (CNB) of the breast mass and the histological evidence of seeding of tumor cells from the primary lesion into adjacent tissue.
