- Abstract
This paper builds a comprehensive utility tunnel gas tank model experiment platform, and designs the experiment scheme of N2 leakage in CO2 and Ne leakage in air. The measured data shows that compared with N2 leakage in the CO2, gas collection rate of Ne leakage in the air is higher and the experimental steps are simpler, the fitting effect is closer to the natural gas leakage in air, and the maximum relative error is 14.9%. Three cases of natural gas leakage in air, N2 leakage in CO2 and Ne leakage in air are calculated by CFD simulation. The results show that the diffusion law of the leaked gas is consistent under the condition of no ventilation. Under the alarm response concentration, the high concentration diffusion radius of Ne and natural gas is closer, the minimum difference is only 1m, while the difference of N2 is about 10m. Therefore, Ne leakage in the air is more suitable for natural gas leakage in the air as an alternative gas scheme.
