- Abstract
The article presents a study which predicts for the soil sorption coefficient of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds. The study showed that the soil sorption coefficients of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds including seven triazines, four pyrimidines and 1 pyridazine, which correlated poorly to the lipophilicity or water solubility. Results also revealed that soil sorption coefficients of heterocyclic nitrogen compounds are not only determined by the partition effection induced by water solubility, but also by the non-disperse force between the molecules of the compound and particles of soil.
