- Abstract
The article presents a study on the acute subcutaneous and oral toxicity of uranyl acetate in male Swiss mice and Sprague-Dawley rats. The study used uranium in the form of uranyl acetate dihydrate administered to the rats and mice whose liver and kidneys underwent histological analysis. Results showed that subcutaneous administration of uranyl acetate was highly toxic while oral intoxication was moderate.
