- Abstract
The article focuses on the late Imam Warith Deen Mohammed and his Islamic leadership and contributions to interfaith encounters or dialogue in the U.S. within the context of missiology. The imam's effort to cultivate interfaith relationships with the Jewish community is tackled. His approach to providing education about Islam in an effort to develop religious faith is discussed. The author refers to Imam Mohammed as one of the most prominent mujaddids also known as Islamic religious revivers in the 20th and 21st centuries.
