- Authors
McCarthy, Nicola
- Abstract
The article discusses the study which investigates the elements that are involved in activating the transcription of fusion genes. It mentions that the researchers use mouse models to show that immunoglobulin heavy chain (Igh 3') regulatory region (Igh3'RR) can function over long distance to activate the transcription of translocated Myc. It mentions that the study reveals that inactivation of Igh3'RR presents the development of mature B cell lymphomas.
