- Abstract
An interview with architect and designer David Adjaye is presented. Adjaye says that being one of the architects of the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture (NMAAHC) is the defining project of his career. He mentions the importance of narrative in his design process and the meaning of African American as fundamental concept of the NMAAHC project. He also talks about the various considerations to the architectural landscape of NMAAHC and its interior structure.
