- Title
AUDIENCE RESPONSE.
- Abstract
The article presents a discussion on the provisions of the United Nations Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) at the symposium "The Law of the Sea - Where Now?" held at Duke University School of Law in Durham, North Carolina on October 29-30, 1982. One audience member asked about the international standards governing radioactive waste dumping in the marine environment. Other topics were the possibility for the U.S. to claim that passage of the international straits is a right under customary international law and an effort against signing UNCLOS.
