- Title
DISCUSSION.
- Abstract
The article presents a discussion on the paper presented by Yale Law School Professor Jerry Mashaw on the immunity of a government official from civil liability. The moderator requested Mashaw to respond to the comments made by his colleagues Mancur Olson, Ken Shepsle, Richie Epstein and Bill Baxter. The question from Peter Ordeshook on the doctrine and exceptions to the immunity of an official is answered, while an explanation is made on the replacement of sovereign immunity by the U.S. Supreme Court.
