- Abstract
The article focuses on the efforts being made at electoral college in the U.S. It investigates the Baker v. Carr case which marked a significant development for electoral college reform. It mentions that electoral college reform here refers to reform made at the constitutional method of electing and nominating the president in the U.S. It discusses country's present electoral system for the president. It highlights different election systems present in the U.S. including direct national election, district system, and the proportional system.
