- Abstract
The article offers information on how to avoid conflicts in the laws through international agreement in the U.S. It mentions that international agreements could do much harm than good, if they fail to take account of the basic features of policy and technique which have characterized several national conflictual systems. It highlights the need to distinguish between classification of dispositive rules and indicative rules of laws for the classification of facts. It examines the dilemma of classification and focuses on necessary steps for clearing doubts. It highlights the problems which arise from comprehensive reference to foreign law.
