This paper investigates the concept of hysteria for three mefhodological approaches: The first deals with the historicaL, patriarchal and misogynistic construction of hysteria, pejoratively associated with the feminine. The second disseets the «Iconographic Studies of Hysteria», performed by Dr. Paul Richer and Dr. Charcot of hysterical patients of the Salpetriere. The third analyzes the work cell.
