- Abstract
The article highlights some challenges faced by oncology nurses related to patient adherence to oral cancer therapies. Topics including the factors that are affecting the oral adherence such as disease, treatment and patient characteristics; survey on nurses at a National Cancer Institute-designated cancer center on the issue; and factors of institutional sources of non-adherence such as changes in patient appointments that are not being communicated to the research nurses.
