- Abstract
Keywords: allergic contact dermatitis; formaldehyde sensitization; TRUE Test EN allergic contact dermatitis formaldehyde sensitization TRUE Test 358 359 2 08/16/21 20210901 NES 210901 The optimal formaldehyde (FA) concentration for patch testing that allows to identify true FA sensitization has been studied and discussed over time. RESULTS A total of 52 patients reacted positively to FA 2% aq. (4.57%); only 13 patients (1.14%) reacted to FA in the TRUE Test and all of them showed a positive reaction to FA 2% aq.
