- Abstract
The article presents a study which investigates the development of genome-wide satellite genetic resources in Lates niloticus or the Nile perch, an African freshwater fish species. Topics discussed include testing of microsatellite markers for polymorphism, polymerase chain reaction (PCR) conditions and genotyping, and mean allelic richness in microsatellite markers.
