- Abstract
The article discusses the research on the efficiency of the Wharton's jelly mesenchymal stromal cells in repairing a gastroschisis with the use of umbilical cord (UC). The research used the Eagle's medium to establish the validity of umbilical stump through gathering the experience in gastroschisis repairing in infants and one with omphalocele from 1986 to 2003. Results show that with the use of the method, the early control assessment of patients who has gastroschisis presents good results.
