- Abstract
The article reports that Paladin Energy Ltd. will complete a study, allowing the board to consider an expansion of its productive mine. It is said that the company is an Australian firm that produces uranium in Namibia. The study aims to expand the Langer Heinrich mine outside Swakopmund to 3.7 m pounds of uranium oxide a year in December. Moreover, Paladin seeks to tap rising demend for nuclear power with the International Atomic Energy Agency, with a forecast of 60 plants that will be built in the next fifteen years.
