- Abstract
The article offers information on the start of operation of a seven-year floating rate note worth KSh1bn in Kenya's Nairobi Stock Exchange. This floating rate note is issued by the Eastern and Southern African Trade and Development (PTS) Bank. It states that the bond had a minimum subscription of Shs1m. Michael Gondwe, PTA Bank's president, said that the proceeds of this bond will be made to finance projects and investments in this country. Moreover, the bond is also projected to provide finance to sectors like manufacturing, tourism, agriculture, and construction.
