- Abstract
The article reports that Chinese company Shengli Engineering & Consulting, along with local associate Runji and Partners, has won the bid to offer consultancy service for the Nairobi-Eldoret pipeline enhancement project in Kenya. Kenya Pipeline Co. managing director George Okungu said that Shengli offered the lowest price. The project aims to double the current flow rate of the pipeline to 400,000 per hour, thus increasing the availability of petroleum products and lessening vehicle traffic on local roads in the country.
