- Abstract
The article focuses on the BP Deepwater Horizon Explosion and Oil Spill in the Gulf of Mexico in 2010 and discusses what happened to all of the oil in the spill. Topics include various physical, chemical, and biological processes stated to have affected the fate and distribution of the spilled petrocarbon, some of the spilled oil directly removed by mitigating measures, some was rapidly biodegraded and some was deposited on the seafloor.
