- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 57-year old woman with diabetes mellitus, hypertension and hyperlipidemia who experienced chest pain which appeared to be caused by an acupuncture needle in the right ventricular outflow tract and traversed the interventricular septum. The patient underwent surgery to remove the foreign metallic object. Figures are presented showing the patient's thoracic cardiograms, noncontrast computed tomograms and right ventriculograms.
