- Abstract
The article focuses on managing atopic dermatitis (AD). It says that AD has a genetic predisposition, in which a child has increased risk of developing such disease if one parent has the diseases. It states that the inside-out or immune -driven hypothesis suggests that abnormal epidermal phenotype in AD skin is driven by expression of cytokines produced by T-cells subsets. Morever, it discusses environmental factors, such as house dust mites, lead to the development of allergic diseases.
