- Abstract
The author reflects on Soviet Union's efforts to improve the Soviet health care system. According to the author, Soviet socialized medicine is a part of a grand and progressive plan to remake Russians and the society. The simple and noble principles of the design are also offered by the author. He argues that the failure of Soviet Union's health care is an indictment of the fundamental principles of socialized medicine.
