- Abstract
The article describes cases of women with chronic idiopathic CD4+T lymphocytopenia diagnosed after longstanding and recurrent human papillomavirus (HPV)-induced high-grade anogenital dysplasia. The patients do not have a history of high-risk sexual behavior and only HPV 16 was found in all analysed lesional biopsies. It recommended follow-up examinations in these patients since progression to high-grade dysplasia or even invasive disease could occur.
