- Abstract
The article presents a case report of a 57-year-old Japanese male patient with a with a history of itchy eruption with tenderness on his right lower leg, which was consistent with the diagnosis of Well's syndrome accompanying chronic myeloid leukemia (CML). The patient received nilotinib hydrochloride hydrate for skin lesions identified as Well's syndrome. The effect of nilotinib on BCR-ABL kinase in Philadelphia chromosome (Ph) translocation t (9;22) (q34;q11) is discussed.
