- Abstract
This 2-year study examined the impact of mathematics-focused professional development and instructional coaching support on classroom quality in five inner-city Catholic elementary schools. The results demonstrated that in two major domains there was a noted increase in classroom quality when comparing pre- and post-data. The domain of classroom organization demonstrated significant improvement with instructional support, also demonstrating positive gains. The domain of emotional support did not demonstrate significant improvement when comparing preand post-data results.
